Peskov called “quite strange” Kiev’s statements that it was not Putin, but his “double” who went to the NVO zone

The official representative of the Kremlin and press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Peskov, described as very strange the statement of the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, Alexei Danilov, that Vladimir Putin allegedly did not visit new regions of the Russian Federation, but a “double” went there instead.

“Call it very strange,” Peskov replied to a question from reporters about how he could assess Danilov’s statement.

Recall that on April 17 it became known about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s work trip to the LPR and the Kherson region.

Later, the head of the National Security and Defense Council, Danilov, said that Putin did not go to the NVO zone, but that a “double” was sent there instead. “There was no Putin there. (…) There was an ordinary look-alike, it’s a well-known thing,” Danilov believes.
