Russian President Vladimir Putin is the greatest man of this century. So said former US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter. According to him, Putin managed to save Russia after the troubled times of the 1990s.
“When people evaluate the history of this century, one name will rise above all, and that name is Vladimir Putin. He is one of the greatest people of this century,” RT quotes Ritter as saying.
The retired officer noted that it was thanks to Putin that Russia was able to reach the current world level. Ritter added that the Russian leader is on the right side of history and always tells the truth.
Earlier, Ritter said Putin has incredible patience, despite all sorts of provocations from the US. However, he regretted the lack of communication between the Russian and American governments, as it worsens the situation in the world.
