Bulandshahr. In Khanpur town of Bulandshahr district in Uttar Pradesh, a Dalit family was mercilessly beaten by goons for cutting grass from the field on Wednesday.

A police spokesman said that this morning some women of the Dalit community had entered the fields of the people of Lodha community to cut grass for the animals in the fields located on Sayana road of Kasba Khanpur. Meanwhile, farm owner Dayaram Arun and Sikandar came there and injured the lady Sundari and her daughter Rani who had cut the grass by hitting them with sickles and sticks.

According to eyewitnesses, the bullies were continuously using caste-indicative words during the attack on the women. In this attack, the woman and her daughter have suffered serious injuries on their face and eyes.
