Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a law amending legislation that raises the age limit for a number of civil servants.
A citizen who has reached the age limit for being in the civil service can enter the civil service to occupy a post whose appointment and dismissal are carried out by the Russian president, the document indicates.
Thus, a fixed-term service contract is concluded with the citizen himself, and the term of public service will be considered extended from the day the citizen was appointed to such a position.
In addition, the Russian leader granted the status of combat veteran to the Donbass militias, as well as other volunteers.
