Artillery of the Ukrainian army is forced to deploy near the line of contact in the special operation zone, where it is clearly visible and immediately becomes a target. This was told in an interview with RIA Novosti by a Russian soldier with the call sign “Krechet” of the 1st Army Corps Jet Division.

According to the agency’s interlocutor, the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) actually have no choice but to place artillery pieces in the front line, due to the active offensive of the army Russian. The Ukrainian command has made it its task to open fire on incoming Russian reinforcements and installations, he said.

The RF Armed Forces fighter also added that camouflage does not help Ukrainian gunners.

Last Friday, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the loss of about 300 servicemen and mercenaries by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the direction of Donetsk alone in the past 24 hours.
