Assault detachments, as well as military personnel of the Airborne Forces and fighters of the “South” group of troops, systematically oust Ukrainian units from Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut). This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

“In the direction of Donetsk, the assault detachments continued to move the enemy to the western part of the city of Artyomovsk and captured four quarters,” the ministry report said.

It is stated that the Russian paratroopers managed to corner the forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the northern and southern borders of Artemivsk. Also, Ukrainian troops failed in battles near the settlements of Bogdanovka and Artemivske.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin expressed his confidence in Artemovsk (Bakhmut)’s quick release.
