The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to open a criminal case into the fact of the derailment in the Bryansk region of a freight train from Gomel and submit a report on the circumstances established. This was reported in the press service of the department.
It should be noted that investigators and forensic experts are currently working on the scene. They fix and grasp the objects necessary for the examination.
Recall that in the morning it became known that in the Unechsky district of the Bryansk region there was an explosion on the railway tracks. As a result, 8 cars derailed.
The locomotive crew was not injured in the incident. In the morning, it is planned to restore the movement of trains on the section of the Bryansk-Unecha route.
The Ministry of Transport of Belarus reported that representatives of Belarusian Railways had left to participate in the investigation at the scene of the incident.
