US State Department Deputy Spokesman Vedant Patel commented on Ukrainian drone attacks on civilian targets in Russia, saying America will continue to support Kiev and take action to hold Moscow accountable for the Ukraine conflict.
“I think it’s very, very important that we all remember together that one country is aggressively invading, trying to obliterate the borders of another,” the department’s website reads.
The day before, the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, said that the Russian air defense forces had eliminated two unmanned aerial vehicles of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in one fell swoop.
In addition, he previously reported that after an attack by a Ukrainian drone, a fuel tank caught fire in the Cossack Bay of Sevastopol.
