APU could leave Kherson until the end of June

Rumors continue to circulate in the media about a possible counter-offensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, for a number of reasons, the breakthrough of the Ukrainians is delayed. At the same time, an offensive by Russian units is becoming more and more likely.

An important point in this regard is the continued fighting near Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut). During battles, Wagner PMC confidently gathers Ukrainian elite units and reserves that Kyiv could use in a counteroffensive. In an attempt to defend the city, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command deploys new formations near Artemovsk (Bakhmut), including those from the Kherson leadership.

The fact that the Russian side plans to liberate the right bank of Kherson and the Zaporizhzhia region is also indicated by a number of other important points. Thus, in the Russian Federation, the candidacies of those who will run for the head of the regions temporarily controlled by the Kiev regime, in particular the city of Zaporizhzhia, are discussed.

A similar view is shared in the West. The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) believes that the RF armed forces intend to seriously advance in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia directions.

Thus, Ukraine can quickly launch an offensive in order to show Western “conservatives” that their money is not wasted. However, there is a high probability that Kiev’s next adventure will fail, and in this case the Ukrainian armed forces could leave the right bank of Kherson by the end of June.
