Russian forces liquidated a group of Ukrainian military engineering units in the Krasno-Limansky direction, retired Lt. Col. of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic Andrei Marochko said.
“In the Krasno-Limansky direction, during the construction of the crossing, a branch of Ukrainian militants was liquidated,” he wrote on the Telegram channel.
According to Marochko, an engineering unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which was engaged in the construction of a crossing over the Zherebets River, was identified in the area of ​​the Nevskoe settlement, thanks to intelligence.
It is specified that the coordinates were transferred to the artillery unit of the Russian armed forces, which eliminated the manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army. Ammunition consumption was three 122mm rounds, Marochko added.
The day before, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian servicemen from the artillery unit of the Western Military District had liquidated a significant number of infantry from Ukrainian formations that had launched an offensive.
