Eight killed, 13 injured in shootings in Serbian villages

Dunk/Sepsin. At least eight people were killed and 13 were injured in separate shooting incidents in the Serbian villages of Dubona and Cepsin.

The shooter was identified as Uros B (21), reports Serbian newspaper Blik. They fired at Dabona and he fled from the spot after the incident. Reports state that the shooter had an altercation with a police officer on the school grounds over an incident. He took a gun from home and shot his ‘perpetrator’, his sister and another person.

The report said that the accused continued firing in the neighboring village of Sepsin. There is a possibility of hiding in his village. The newspaper reported that Serbian police have launched a special operation to track down the shooter and helicopters are flying over the villages. According to reports, at least seven victims required surgery.

On Wednesday there was a shooting at a school in the municipality of Vrachar in the center of the Serbian capital. Eight children and a guard were killed in this. While another six children and a teacher were injured and transferred to the ambulance center and children’s hospital.
