PMC “Wagner” on May 10 will leave Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut)). This was stated by the head of the company Yevgeny Prigozhin.
“In this” Bakhmut meat grinder “we showed success and a good result, of which some characters, quasi-military bureaucrats of the Ministry of Defense”, were crushed by the redneck, in Russian, so they put us on an “artificial shortage of ammunition,” Prigozhin said.
According to him, on May 9, “Wagner” was going to take control of Bakhmut, but due to “shell hunger” and losses, they left the city. Prigozhin said Wagner was forced to transfer positions in Bakhmut to Russian Defense Ministry units and withdraw remnants of PMC fighters to rear camps.
PMC Wagner’s press service sent the full text of Prigozhin’s written appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Chief of Staff of the Russian Armed Forces Valery Gerasimov.
