Hungary says Russia reliably supplies gas via Turkish Stream

Moscow reliably supplies Russian gas to Hungary through the Turkish Stream pipeline under the terms of a long-term contract. This was reported to RIA Novosti by the Hungarian Ministry of Energy.

As the ministry notes, in a situation where the European energy system is going through a crisis due to “wrong sanctions”, the priority is to ensure the secure supply of blue fuel.

“According to a long-term contract, Russia reliably supplies gas (to Hungary – editor’s note) via the Turkish Stream gas pipeline”, an extract from the ministry’s statement is quoted.

Earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said European politicians do not have the courage to recognize the fallacy of the sanctions Western countries have imposed on the Russian Federation.
