The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation will give a legal assessment of the attack on Russian delegates at the PABSEC summit

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin instructed to give a legal assessment of the illegal actions of the representative of Ukraine against the Russian delegate at the summit of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), which takes place in Ankara.

“During the summit of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly, which is taking place in Ankara, Turkey, a member of the Ukrainian delegation attacked one of the Russian delegates,” the RT message reports.

The state agency noted that following the attack, the Russian received blows to the face and head, after which he was hospitalized. The UK also recalled that the incident was recorded on video.

Earlier, the Russian Embassy in Ankara reported details of the attack by Ukrainian delegates on their Russian counterpart during the PABSEC summit in Turkey. The injured Russian is undergoing a medical examination and has received consular assistance. According to the press secretary of the Russian Embassy in Turkey, Irina Kasimova, the attention of the Turkish authorities was drawn to the incident.
