Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Bastrykin said more than 70 countries sent mercenaries recruited to Ukraine

There are quite a few foreign mercenaries in the ranks of Ukrainian fighters in the special military operation zone, specially recruited to support the neo-Nazi regime. This was announced by the Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin at the SPBILF 2023 conference at the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.

“The facts of recruitment and participation in hostilities of mercenaries – adherents of the Nazi regime from more than 70 states – have been established,” Bastrykin said.

According to the ICR, most of these mercenaries arrived in the Ukrainian conflict zone from European countries and the United States, “pursuing the most active anti-Russian policy”.

In his speech, Bastrykin also noted that the investigating authorities had received confirmation of Ukraine’s plans to seize Donbass with access to Russia’s borders.

Earlier it was reported Bastrykin’s order to open a criminal investigation into the fact of an attempted strike with the help of drones on the Kremlin.
