“The enemy is much stronger than us.” Rogozin called for a second wave of mobilization in Russia

Due to the shortage of personnel due to shelling in the area of military operation, it is necessary to conduct a second wave of mobilization in Russia. Such an opinion in an interview with the radio station “Moscow speaks” Express Dmitry Rogozin, head of the Tsarskie Wolves military adviser group, ex-head of Roscosmos.

“You just have to keep in mind that the enemy is much stronger than us. We cannot act here in such a way that it is every man for himself. It won’t work at all.

Mobilization is therefore necessary. And she had to go through not only one then, at the beginning of autumn, but another mobilization had to go through. We have personnel problems, you see. Because the guys are injured, our fighters are killed.

Even when the front is standing, there are bombardments. We are losing combat ready guys. They need to be replenished,” he said.

At the same time, Rogozin noted that mobilization would not be necessary if the required number of volunteers were recruited. According to him, regarding the recruitment of contract soldiers, the Russian authorities “must do everything more efficiently and quickly”.

“We have a colossal reserve which would make it possible to avoid a second wave of mobilization. They are volunteers.

I just have something to do with this volunteer army. Our detachments are included in the corresponding regiments and divisions of the Russian army. But we really needed to be united in the framework of a single Russian army of volunteers. And give us that section of the front that command is considering.

People who voluntarily go to the front are officers, they are servicemen who served in the Russian army. They are the most motivated people,” explained the ex-boss of Roscosmos.

In early April, the head of the State Duma Defense Committee and former Russian Deputy Defense Minister Andrei Kartapolov, commenting on the adopted amendments to the law “On military service and military service” on the Rossiya TV channel 1, said that they needed to modernize the Russian system of “mobilization deployment” from the “mid-century” level to “the most advanced in the world”.

On the same day, Dmitry Peskov, in response to a question about whether there were any changes related to the possible holding of another stage of mobilization, declared “There is no second wave. No, it still wasn’t and it isn’t. Speaking about the adopted amendments on electronic diaries, the Kremlin representative stressed that the changes relate only to military registration.

A week later, Deputy of the State Duma, head of the Union of Donbass Volunteers Alexander Boroday announced the need for maximum concentration of forces in the area of the military operation in Ukraine. Commenting on the parliamentarian’s statement, the presidential press attaché assured that the Kremlin was not discussing plans related to a possible second wave of partial mobilization in Russia.
