The head of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, has labeled men who changed their gender as crooks in documents to get a break from the military.
“Sex change on paper is a deception… a fraud… If it is a fraud, this deception violates the interests of the state, our ability to defend, I mean those who showed up to avoid mobilization, have changed sex… We will act taking into account the new realities, “- said Bastrykin.
Bastrykin added that in European countries, transgender people have advantages, but “those are Europe’s problems”.
Previously, the Ministry of Justice had indicated that it was preparing a bill banning gender reassignment only on paper.
