Japan Earthquake: 5.2 magnitude earthquake in Japan’s Chiba Prefecture, eight injured

Tokyo, May 12 (UNI) A magnitude 5.2 earthquake shook Chiba Prefecture near Japan’s capital Tokyo on Thursday morning, injuring eight people. This information was given in the report of Japanese broadcaster NHK. According to reports, the earthquake occurred at 04:16 am local time on Thursday. The epicenter was at a depth of 40 kilometers (25 mi). No tsunami warning has been issued in this regard. Train traffic was temporarily suspended and elevators in buildings were shut down due to the quake.
