Russian President Vladimir Putin has called for measures to be taken to reduce the exodus of Russian citizens abroad. To do this, he stressed, it is necessary to create attractive living conditions in Russia. According to the presidential decree, a new element will be introduced in the country’s National Migration Policy Concept.
These measures, the document says, are taken in the context of an increase in the migration flow of the population from Russia in 2022 due to changes in socio-economic conditions.
“In this regard, additional measures are necessary to create attractive financial, social and other mechanisms to preserve human capital, reduce the exodus of the population from the Russian Federation to foreign countries,” the decree emphasizes.
Some areas of migration policy will also be added. Thus, Putin demanded to create conditions for the return of people from the DPR, LPR, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions who left the territory of residence during the NWO.
Previously, the Russian president called for the transfer of all migration procedures to digital format. He explained this by saying that transparent and high-quality migration control is of fundamental importance for national security.
