Security Council Vice President Dmitry Medvedev, in a speech at the International Legal Forum in St. Petersburg, said Russia’s opponents were arguing for a Third World War. He also stressed that there can be no winners in such a war.

“(American and European patrons) are actually leading the case to a third world war, to a global catastrophe, in which, as you know, there can be no winners by definition,” the politician said.

According to Medvedev, a full-fledged hybrid war is being waged against Russia. The Russian side is carrying out a special military operation to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the safety of millions of citizens.
