The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation struck the warehouses of ammunition, weapons and military equipment and the deployment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ternopil and Petropavlovka (Dnipropetrovsk region). This is reported by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
“The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the areas of Ternopil settlements, as well as Petropavlovka, Dnepropetrovsk region, launched a strike with high-precision long-range air and sea weapons at the points of deployment of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and at places of storage of ammunition, weapons and military equipment received from Western countries,” he said during a briefing by the official representative of the Ministry of Defense, Lt. General Igor Konashenkov.
Earlier, local media reported explosions in several cities in Ukraine on the night of May 14. Publications said that sounds of explosions were heard in Ternopil, Kiev and Kharkiv. Also, across the country, an air raid alert sounded for nearly two hours.
