From 10:28 p.m. local time (coinciding with Moscow time), an emergency alert was extended to Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovograd, Poltava, Zaporizhzhia, Cherkasy, Kiev and Zhytomyr regions.
On the evening of May 17, Ukrainian Telegram channels reported explosions in Odessa. According to various sources, there were 5 to 15 explosions. At this time, the air raid alert in the Odessa region was canceled.
Earlier, footage of a group night strike that Russian combat crews inflicted with long-range precision weapons on a large ammunition depot in the town of Nikolaev was released.
