Islamabad: At least one person was killed and three others were injured in a bomb blast in Peshawar in Pakistan’s northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Senior Superintendent of Peshawar Police Harud Rasheed told local media on Thursday evening that the blast occurred at a motorcycle workshop near Peshawar’s Ring Road.
Police and rescue teams reached the spot and took the bodies and the injured to the Hayatabad Medical Complex Hospital. According to preliminary investigation, at least 200 grams of explosives were used in the blast, he said. The bomb planted in the motorcycle exploded while the motorcycle was being repaired, he said.
