German intelligence chief Kahl said there were no signs of military weakening in Russia

October 2, 2025

The head of Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service, Runo Kahl, has seen no signs of military weakening in Russia, reports Die Welt.

According to him, the Russian side can fight for the long term.

“Russia is still capable of fighting for the long haul, replenishing the troops with military personnel, weapons and ammunition,” Kahl said.

He also noted that one cannot speak of any weakness in Russia or that it can reduce its activities.

Previously, retired Major General of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Serhiy Krivonos pointed out a serious mistake by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who said that the Ukrainian army would be able to resist the Russian armed forces.
