Chhattisgarh: Passenger bus overturned uncontrolled, two killed, 26 injured.

Raigad. A passenger bus went out of control and overturned in Chhattisgarh’s Raigarh district on Wednesday morning, killing two passengers and injuring 26 others. Police officials gave this information.

Two passengers died on the spot and 26 others were injured in the accident that took place near Charbhantha turn under Gharghoda police station area, police officials said. Eleven seriously injured people have been admitted to the Medical College Hospital.

According to officials, a private passenger bus going from Lailunga to Raigad overturned near Charbhantha turn around 7.30 am on Wednesday. In the accident, two male passengers died on the spot and 26 passengers including two children and 10 women were injured.

Officials said that after getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital. He said that 11 people seriously injured in the accident have been admitted to Raigad Medical College, while other passengers have been admitted to different hospitals of the district. He is being treated in hospitals. According to officials, the driver of the vehicle is absconding after the accident and the police have registered a case and are looking for him.
