Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

the attack on the Kremlin could have been organized by the special services of Ukraine

The US administration believes that the drone attack on the Kremlin in early May was organized by one of Ukraine’s special services. This was reported by The New York Times, citing sources.

Meanwhile, US intelligence has no information about the special service involved in the attack and whether Zelenskyy knew about the impending attack, the publication added.

The NYT claims that at first US President Joe Biden’s administration considered a version of a ‘false flag operation’ by the Russian government, but after intercepting some internal negotiations from Russian officials who were ‘surprised’ by what had happened, the American administration changed its mind.

Recall that on May 3, drones were spotted near the Kremlin. Drones attempting to attack the Kremlin were knocked out. Vladimir Putin reacted calmly to the incident. Later, Peskov said that by attacking the Kremlin, Ukraine was actually equating itself with countries supporting terrorism.
