Shivakumar did not give any time frame for implementing these guarantees, but said that the meeting of the cabinet to be held on June 1 will discuss their implementation. “The cabinet meeting is to be held on June 1. The Chief Minister also has the charge of the Finance Department. He will hold discussions with officials and give relevant inputs to the cabinet. We will fulfill our promise. We have to do this in a systematic manner and preparations are on for it.
Shivakumar told reporters here that there was a responsible government in the state and it would fulfill its promises made to the people and they need not worry. The deputy chief minister said all ministers were directed to review their portfolios. And he and all other ministers will start their work from today.
