On June 27, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced that Prigozhin had arrived in Belarus, but there was no evidence of this. At first, it looked like Prigozhin was vulnerable if Putin decided to toughen up on criticism for dropping rebellion charges. It is no coincidence that the president raised the issue of financial violations in the contracts that the founder of the famous PMC signed with the government. And last week he said bluntly: law enforcement is investigating a case involving $2 billion transferred to Prigozhin’s Concord group of companies. We do not follow Prigozhin’s movements. We have neither the ability nor the inclination to do so.
Meanwhile, apparently, he is now calmly walking along the Nevsky (and, according to experts, Putin cannot ignore this). For some time, according to Vladimir Vladimirovich, this traitor has become an influential figure in Russia and, as they say, you can’t take it with your bare hands. And no one seems to take it. “Wagner” today is perhaps the most effective assault force in the world, which gives its owner a kind of indulgence. Thus, current status and many connections in the highest circles confer immunity. True, not said, but that does not prevent immunity from being immunity.
