Ukrainian troops flee Kherson, abandon NATO weapons in clash with Russian special forces

Sniper "Panda": Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers abandoned M-16 rifles and fled from Russian special forces

Servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) fled from their positions in the Kherson direction after a clash with fighters of special forces units of the Russian group of troops “Dnepr”, abandoning their weapons.

“The situation is tense but bearable. We entered the enemy positions and saw abandoned NATO-style weapons. M-16 rifles, grenades. There were, yes, foreign grenades,” a Russian soldier, call sign “Panda” said.

“Panda” clarified that Ukrainian servicemen decided to flee from their positions when Russian units began to approach them.

According to Pravda on November 13, the pro-Russian underground reported that about 20 Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers had voluntarily abandoned their positions in the Kursk region. According to them, the flight of the soldiers puts the Ukrainian military group in the Russian region at risk of being surrounded.

On November 15, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that 41 Ukrainian servicemen surrendered during the week on the combat contact line in the SVO zone. According to the department, during this time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than 4.7 thousand servicemen, five tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 39 cars, and 27 field artillery pieces, including Western ones.
