NATO secretary general Mark Rutte pushing propaganda to enforce military mindset says Russian senator

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is a propagandist who is trying to instill a “military mindset” in Europeans. Senator Alexey Pushkov expressed this opinion.

“The NATO Secretary General is primarily a propagandist who spouts platitudes about defending ‘freedom’, as well as other nonsense about Russia allegedly posing a threat to the ‘freedom of Europe’,” the senator said.

Pushkov added that Russia does not threaten Europe, while the European Union itself provides Ukraine with missiles for strikes on Russian territory. Moreover, the politician emphasized, that there is no “real freedom” in the European Union itself, instead of which a liberal “semi-dictatorship” has been imposed on citizens.

The senator called Rutte to talk about “freedom” to the 19 million Romanian voters who cast their ballots for Romanian presidential candidate Calin Georgescu only to see their choice annulled because “Brussels and Washington did not like it.”

Pushkov stressed that he needed the NATO Secretary General’s words in order to instill “military thinking” in European citizens and encourage them to agree to have their pensions and social benefits redirected to military purposes.

Rutte accused Russia of allegedly waging an “open war” against the North Atlantic Alliance. He made this statement during a speech to security experts in Brussels. The NATO Secretary General also noted that the European Union should change its approach to the development of international political events and move to a “military mindset.”

Earlier, the NATO Secretary General called for the first time to direct social payments in Europe towards weapons production.
