Marochko: the Armed Forces of Ukraine began to suffer non-combat losses due to the use of poor quality shells

March 2, 2023, 07:47 – Public Information Service – TEH – Retired LPR People’s Militia Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko informed that Ukrainian troops began to suffer non-combat losses due to the use of faulty ammunition, writes TASS.
So, ammunition for the Soviet types of 120, 122 and 152 mm caliber artillery systems, with foreign brands, was transferred to Kiev.
“When Ukrainian militants started using these shells, the fact of non-compliance or inconsistency of many ammunition was revealed, traces of marriage and flaws were also found,” Marochko explained.

Recall that on February 24, Russian leader Vladimir Putin announced the start of a special military operation in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, a veteran of the Strategic Missile Forces (RVSN) of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, Reserve Colonel Yuri Chmutin, said that due to landslides, militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine remained in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut) without reinforcements in the form of military equipment. According to him, they “think about retreating with the remnants, withdrawing the troops”.
