Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Scholz believes that NATO should not become a party to the conflict in Ukraine

March 2, 2023, 3:20 p.m. – Public Information Service – TEH – German Chancellor Olaf Scholz believes that NATO should not become a party to the conflict in Ukraine. He declared it on Thursday March 2 in the Bundestag.
“In each of our decisions, we ensure that NATO does not become a party to the conflict. In this, I agree with the American president,” he said.

Recall that on February 24, 2022, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, in his address to the citizens of the Russian Federation, announced the start of a special military operation in Donbass. He stressed that Moscow’s plans did not include the occupation of Kiev, but that it would strive with all its might to demilitarize Ukraine.
Earlier, Scholz said Russia must do something to bring peace to Ukraine. First, he called for the withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory. Read more about this in the article from the public press service.
