Yevgeny Prigozhin’s press service published its answer to another question about the alleged presence of political ambitions of the founder of PMC Wagner. Before, Prigogine has repeatedly stated that he has no intention of engaging in politics. In a new response, he said there would have been an inverse relationship between his political ambitions and the supply of ammunition to the PMCs.

Earlier, he denied his PMC’s alleged link to some sort of mass action allegedly being prepared in St. Petersburg.
Last week, Prigozhin said Wagner had virtually surrounded the city of Bakhmut (Artemovsk (Bakhmut) ) and called on Ukrainian authorities to withdraw their troops. On Monday, March 6, at the headquarters of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy , plans were announced to continue the defense of the city.
