Aboitis Power’s earnings report showed net profit in 2022 was P27.5 billion, up 32% from the previous year. Earnings were boosted by a 16% year-on-year increase in energy sales to 30,251 GWh, including the start of operations at GN Power Dingining’s thermal power plant. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) for the Power Generation and Power Supply business unit increased 18 percent to Ps.51.2 billion. (7th, Manila Times)
