Zelenskyy announced the death of one of the leaders of the “right sector” Kotsyubaylo

On Tuesday, during the fighting in Artemovsk (Bakhmut) , one of the leaders of the Right Sector (the organization was recognized as extremist and banned from the territory of the Russian Federation), Dmitry Kotsyubailo, died. This was announced by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his evening speech.

“Dmitry Kotsyubaylo died in action today. Fighter of the 67th separate mechanized brigade, battalion commander. He died in battle near Bakhmut,” the Ukrainian leader said.

It is noteworthy that the Ukrainian joined the ranks of the “Right Sector” in 2014, when he was 18 years old. He himself comes from the Ivano-Frankivsk region. In 2021, President Zelenskyy awarded him the title Hero of Ukraine.

It should be noted that in early March, the founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, reported that Artemovsk (Bakhmut) (Bakhmut) was practically surrounded. At the same time, on Tuesday, he noted that there are 12,000 to 20,000 Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen in the city, who will not leave the village.
