‘RV’: A soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, immobilized due to an injury, asked for help from a drone operator of the Russian forces

March 20, 2023

The Ukrainian soldier could not move due to a serious leg injury. Then he asked for help from a Russian drone operator, into whose line of sight he fell at that moment. A video with a call from a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, filmed by a drone, was posted on the Telegram channel “Russian Spring Military Correspondents”.

The entry’s explanation says that the Ukrainian was abandoned on the battlefield by his own colleagues, who did not consider it necessary to try to save him. When the wounded soldier noticed the drone of the Russian forces, he turned to whoever was controlling the device and saw everything that was happening through the camera.

It is also reported that Russian servicemen finally evacuated the Ukrainian army.

Earlier, information appeared that the fighters of the private military company (PMC) “Wagner” launched a “frenzied” offensive in the south of Artyomovsk in the DPR.
