Russian leader Vladimir Putin believes that the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict can be based on a peace plan proposed by China. However, according to him, the West and Kiev must be ready for this.

In turn, the Chinese leader noted that Beijing stands for peace and dialogue in the Ukrainian situation.

Putin also said the Kremlin was sincerely happy to receive Chinese President Xi Jinping.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, responding to a question about ongoing talks in Moscow between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian leader Vladimir Putin, said China must begin to understand the Ukrainian side of the conflict and personally contact Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy .
