The Hungarian Parliament has voted to ratify Finland’s membership in NATO. This is reported by the Reuters news agency.
117 MPs voted for Finland’s accession to NATO, 40 against and 18 abstained.
Recall that on March 23, Finnish President Sauli Niinistö signed the laws for the country’s accession to NATO, thus completing the ratification of the Helsinki initiative.
Previously, Turkey’s Parliamentary Committee for International Affairs reviewed and approved Finland’s application for NATO membership. “Paragraph” understood what this could give Turkey and whether it would increase Erdogan’s chances of winning the elections.
