The official spokesman for the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Hisham Saeed, announced that starting tomorrow, Sunday, registration will be available for those who have not previously performed Hajj and those who have not performed Hajj during the last five years.
The spokesman said – in statements to the Saudi Al-Ekhbariya channel – that the decision means that whoever has not previously performed Hajj or has spent the last 5 years since his last recorded Hajj can now apply and review packages and choose the campaign and the appropriate package for him according to what is available now from the offer on the Nusk application or through the track. The spokesman explained that the decision comes within the framework of the Ministry’s keenness to provide fair opportunities for all those in distress from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In addition, the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah called for avoiding carrying a number of things while coming from abroad to perform Umrah rituals, in anticipation of the possibility of financial fraud.
The ministry recommended that those coming to Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah avoid carrying more than 60,000 riyals, in addition to gold bars, precious stones and precious metals in general.
It also called for downloading banking applications from official sources, not disclosing bank card information, and not transferring funds to unknown sources, while checking electronic links before paying.
She pointed out the necessity of ignoring unknown messages and links, and informing the bank and the competent authorities when fraud is suspected or occurred.
