4.2 magnitude earthquake hits northern Turkey

An earthquake hit northern Turkey. It is reported that it happened in Kastamonu province. It happened at 00:24 local time, coinciding with Moscow. The source of the earthquake was at a depth of 11.83 kilometers.
It is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the Office for the Elimination of the Consequences of Natural Disasters.
“An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 was recorded at 00:24 Moscow time in the Ikhsangazi region,” the agency quoted.
In the second half of March, tremors were recorded in Türkiye. Then the magnitude of the earthquake was 4.8. The outbreak was located at a depth of two kilometers, the epicenter was four kilometers from the city of Geksun.-magnitude 4.2 earthquake recorded in northern Turkey
