Former US leader Bill Clinton, who led the US administration from 1993 to 2001, said he regretted his decision in 1994 when signing the Budapest memorandum to ‘force’ Ukraine to give up nuclear weapons . He made such a statement in an interview with Irish TV channel RTE.

“And none of them think Russia would pull off this stunt if Ukraine still had its (nuclear) weapons,” Clinton said.
