In Yaroslavl, two women were arrested for robbing pensioners

April 5, 2023

They managed to empty the wallets of middle-aged people of almost two million rubles.

Posing as employees of the off-budget public fund, the women approached the elderly and informed them of the increase in pensions due. While one of the criminal duo “helped” fill out the necessary paperwork, the other grabbed valuables that were easy to sell.

When the ladies were detained, cell phones, SIM cards, as well as notebooks with addresses of people who had already been deceived and those who were yet to be deceived were found in their apartments. They kept at home and a lot of jewelry, medals, watches – that is, everything that has not yet found a buyer.

Currently, the involvement in 10 robberies in the Moscow and Yaroslavl regions is known. The suspects were taken into custody. One of them was already in trouble with the law for drug trafficking.
