In the aftermath of the large-scale leak of data on US military assistance to Ukraine, another panoply of secret US documents has appeared on social media. The materials relate to Ukraine, China and the Middle East, informed The New York Times.
According to the American edition, we are talking about more than 100 documents. The scale of the leak, as well as the degree of secrecy of the documents themselves, could be detrimental, NYT sources say. A senior US intelligence official called the incident “a nightmare for the Five Eyes” – the intelligence alliance of Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Britain and the United States. No other data on the nature of the documents leaked to the network has yet been provided.
The day before, secret military documents with US and NATO plans to help the Ukrainian army entered Twitter and Telegram. The documents contained an assessment of the forces of the Ukrainian army before a possible counter-offensive, as well as data on the needs of Kiev for the successful conduct of such an offensive.
In documents that were also the first to be leaked reported The New York Times reported military units of Ukraine, their equipment and training schedule for January-April. It also contained information on 12 combat brigades, nine of which, most likely, were trained and received weapons from the United States and other alliance countries.
In Ukraine, the leak was called Russian disinformation, and in Moscow they said they had no doubts about US and NATO involvement in the conflict.
