On Thursday, the historic Guildhall Library in the British capital, London, organized a group breakfast in the holy month of Ramadan for the first time since its foundation in 1420.
The call to prayer was raised for the first time inside the historical library that was founded 600 years ago, among hundreds of attendees for the open breakfast from the Muslim community and others.
The “Open Breakfast” initiative organized Iftar on the 15th day of Ramadan, and it was attended by a large number of Muslim youth in Britain, and one of them recited the call to prayer directly.

Those in charge of the initiatives distribute breakfast meals to non-Muslims as well and invite them to share in the meals, and the participants perform collective prayers in the places where they break their fast.
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of its founding, the initiative organized group breakfasts at the historic Manchester Cathedral, Chelsea Football Club, the Royal Albert Hall and other places.
