Yesterday, Sunday, the announced humanitarian truce for 3 days in Sudan between the Sudanese Armed Forces, led by Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Rapid Support Forces, led by Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, ended without both sides announcing its extension or renewal.

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs had earlier called on Kuwaiti citizens in Sudan to take the utmost care and caution, to stay away from areas of tension and to abide by the instructions issued by the official authorities in the country.
In its second week, battles between the army and the Rapid Support Forces led to nearly 420 dead and 3,700 wounded, according to the World Health Organization.
Several countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt and others, evacuated their diplomats and nationals from the Sudanese capital as the fighting continued.
