american newspaper The New York Times said the window that allows Kiev to succeed in the fight against Russia cannot be opened forever.
According to the author of the publication, Western support for Ukraine could weaken without a decisive victory on the front.
“At the same time, Kiev’s representatives could face increasing pressure to start negotiations on a freeze on the conflict or a ceasefire,” the newspaper noted.
After the offensive of the Ukrainian armed forces, it is unlikely that the West will be able to replenish such military potential in Kiev in the foreseeable future, since Western countries do not have sufficient reserves. Among other things, until next year, the domestic production of these countries will not be able to meet the needs of Ukraine.
