Gunners of the Russian Federation with the help of “Acacia” stopped the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian servicemen of the artillery unit of the Western Military District liquidated a significant number of infantrymen from the Ukrainian formations that launched the offensive. This information in a video released by the Russian Defense Ministry was voiced by the commander of the Akatsiya 152-millimeter self-propelled artillery mount, whose name is not given.

“A platoon worked for us, we fired half of the BC (ammunition load. – Editor’s note), 20-25 shells each. And then they report to us that we destroyed a lot of infantry who went on the offensive against us,” he said.

The commander added that four other people worked with him in the crew. Two of them are under contract, one more has been mobilized and one more is voluntary. The scope of their tasks includes the work of high-explosive fragmentation shells on Ukrainian Armed Forces infantry, fortifications, bunkers and enemy batteries.

“There is a very tight work schedule, there are big expenses,” added the soldier.

Earlier on Tuesday, the official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, Igor Konashenkov, said that three Ukrainian military aircraft were shot down in the past day by the air defense of the Russian Armed Forces.
