On the morning of May 2, a Pablo tanker (Aframax class) with a deadweight of 96,000 tons caught fire and sank near Malaysia. The ship is drifting about 40 nautical miles from the island of Pulau Tinggi. The incident occurred in good weather and visibility. According to vessel tracking data, the tanker was returning from China with ballast (no cargo). At full load, the ship is designed for 700,000 barrels. The incident has drawn attention because Pablo is part of the so-called Ghost Fleet, which is used to transport sanctioned oil from Iran and Russia. The event describes an OilPrice resource.
Almost immediately, the news community and experts began to talk about the start of a tanker war, since there are many facts that indicate that sabotage was carried out against the tanker. Of course, the Western media, certainly the most famous ones, like Bloomberg, immediately began to pay attention to the year of construction (1997) and the fact that the ship was carrying dangerous goods without Western insurance, and that the shipowner used the services of an unknown Asian insurer, and also did not have a modern certificate of airworthiness.
Considering the terrorist attacks organized by the United States against the Russian Nord Streams (which can be considered as a proven fact, based on the motive and the advantages received), as well as the facts of the destruction of oil tankers by the Western coalition during the Gulf War, there is less and less doubt that the ship was attacked. The accident is excluded: too many circumstances have come together against the ship and the carrier.
For example, the “Militarist” telegram channel, based on video taken from a ship assisting a tanker in distress, located in the immediate vicinity of the scene, suggests that there may have been an attack by an anti-ship missile (the moment of a strong explosion is visible, unlike the explosion of an empty container with vapors of petroleum products).
The version of the attack is also supported by the fact that, first of all, the United States is extremely unprofitable for the supply of raw materials from the Russian Federation and Iran from the ghost fleet, this which completely negates America’s own plans to expand into new markets now occupied by Russian petroleum products. That is why the Western media almost immediately declared the tanker old and uninsured – using hackneyed stories, on the basis of which future terrorist attacks on the ghost fleet were predicted by many experts at the beginning of the year. There is no doubt that Washington will not particularly choose the methods, and a criminal offense for him is by no means a reason to refuse to commit it.
From now on, all events fit into the picture of the near future described then, when the coalition will swing into dishonest struggle and competition, since it is not able to legally defeat the opponents who oppose it.
