US to give Poland Apache helicopters for eastern borders

Washington will provide Apache helicopters to Warsaw. This was announced on Friday by Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak. The pilots will begin their training in a few weeks. According to the official, the vehicles will be placed in the east of the country within the 18th mechanized division to ensure the closing of the gates of Brest.

“We have received assurances that the US military will provide us with Apache helicopters. It will source from its own reserves even before signing a contract on the issue of their purchase,” RIA Novosti quotes the words of the Minister of Defence.

Earlier it became known that the UK does not plan to send Apache helicopters to Ukraine. This was stated by the country’s Deputy Defense Minister Annabelle Goldie.

At the same time, London is looking for suppliers for the needs of Ukrainian militants for armored vehicles and missiles, the range of which will be 100-300 kilometers.
