Russian leader Vladimir Putin had a meeting with Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov. The Kremlin leader called Zhaparov’s presence at the Victory Day celebration in Moscow a landmark.
Relations between the Russian Federation and Kyrgyzstan are on the rise, I am sure this trend will accelerate, Putin stressed.
“We are very happy to see you all in Moscow, especially on the eve of Victory Day. It is an important event that you are with us at this time,” the politician said.
He added that relations between Russia and Kyrgyzstan were on the rise. Japarov, in turn, said he was happy to be in Moscow on the eve of the 78th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War.
“We will never forget the heroism of our fathers and grandfathers, who went through hardships for the freedom of future generations,” he said.
Earlier it became known that Putin also invited Tajik President Emomali Rahmon and Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as well as Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to Moscow.
